Terms and Conditions

In order to ensure your peaceful and safe stay at the Oczy Mazur Resort, we ask you to read and comply with the following Terms and Conditions.

§1 SUBJECT MATTER OF THE REGULATIONS

  1. These Terms and Conditions define the rules of providing services, assuming responsibility and staying at the Oczy Mazur Resort, and are an integral part of the agreement which is concluded by each of the following actions: registering a Guest, as well as making a reservation, paying a deposit or the whole amount due for a stay at Oczy Mazur. By performing the above-mentioned actions, the Guest confirms that he or she has read and accepts the Terms and Conditions.
  2. The Regulations are binding for all Guests staying at the Oczy Mazur Resort.
  3. The Regulations are available for inspection at the Reception of the Resort as well as on the website www.oczymazur.pl

§2 A HOTEL DAY

  1. Rooms, apartments and chalets are rented for a hotel day.
  2. A hotel day lasts from 2 p.m. to 11 a.m. on the following day.
  3. A request for an extension of a hotel day should be made at the Reception by 10:00 a.m. on the day before the room rental period expires. The Resort may refuse the request to extend the stay in the case of all accommodation places being used or in the case of Guests not complying with the Terms and Regulations.
  4. Remaining in the room or leaving things behind after the end of the hotel day will be treated as an extension of the stay - the Reception will charge for the next day's rent at full prices (this does not involve the Guest remaining on the premises of the Resort).

§3 CHECK-IN

  1. The basis for check-in of a Guest is presentation of an identity document with a photograph to the Reception employee and payment of the amount due for the stay. In case of refusal, the Receptionist has the right to refuse to hand over the key to the room.
  2. A guest of the Resort cannot transfer their room to a third party even if the period for which they have paid the stay has not passed.
  3. Guests who are not registered in the Resort are allowed to stay as guests in the Resort from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  4. The Resort may refuse to accommodate a Guest who, during their previous stay, has grossly violated the Terms and Regulations, in particular by causing damage to the Resort's property or the property of Guests, employees or other persons staying in the Resort.

§4 SERVICES

  1. The Oczy Mazur Resort provides accommodation, harbour and catering services.
  2. In case of any reservations concerning the quality of services, Guests are requested to report them immediately to the Reception, which will enable the employees to improve the standard of the services provided.
  3. The Resort is obliged to provide Guests with:
    - conditions for full and unhindered rest,
    - security of their stay, including the security of keeping information about Guests confidential,
    - professional and courteous service in the scope of all services provided in the Centre.

§5 GUESTS' LIABILITY

  1. Children under 12 years of age should be under the constant supervision of their legal guardians on the premises of the Resort. Legal guardians are financially responsible for any damage caused by their children.
  2. Guests shall bear full financial responsibility for any damage or destruction of the Resort's equipment and technical facilities caused by them or their visitors.
  3. The Resort reserves the right to charge the Guest's credit card for any damage caused after the Guest's departure and, if the card details are missing, the Resort has the right to claim financial compensation from the Guest.
  4. The Guest should notify the Reception of the damage as soon as it is discovered.
  5. The Resort may refuse to provide services to a person who violates the Terms and Conditions. Such a person is obliged to immediately comply with the demands of the Resort's management, to pay for the services provided so far, to pay for any damage and to leave the Resort.
  6. Each time a Guest leaves a room, for safety reasons, they should close the windows, turn off the light, close the taps and lock the door and hand the key over to the Reception employee.
  7. Barbecues and bonfires are not permitted on the premises except in designated areas. Use of the fire pit is charged at the reception.
  8. It is absolutely forbidden to have a barbecue on the terraces of the wooden chalets.
  9. The guest is obliged to selectively collect waste. Failure to comply with the order will result in the Guest being charged up to PLN 200.
  10. In case of not leaving the key at the Reception after the stay, the Guest will be charged for the cost of replacing the lock.

§6 RESORT'S LIABILITY

  1. The Resort is not liable for loss of or damage to Guests' property: money, securities, valuables, other things and objects of value or objects of scientific or artistic value.
  2. Parking spaces located on the premises of the Resort are unguarded, use of parking spaces in accordance with the fee list. Payment at the Reception. Parking only in designated areas.
  3. The Resort is not responsible for damage or theft of a car or other vehicle belonging to a Guest.

§7 RETURN OF LOST PROPERTY

  1. Personal belongings left in the room by a departing Guest will be returned to the address indicated by the Guest at the Guest's expense.
  2. If the Guest does not indicate that he or she wants the items to be returned, the Resort will store the items for a period of three months, after which time the items will become the property of the Resort. Food items will be disposed of.

§8 QUIET HOURS

  1. Quiet hours are enforced on the premises of the Resort from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. the following day.
  2. The behaviour of Guests and persons using the Resort's services should not disturb the peaceful stay of other Guests. The Resort may refuse to provide further services to a person who violates this rule.

§9 ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS

  1. For the sake of fire safety, the use of open flames, e.g. candles, heaters, electric irons and other similar devices which do not constitute room equipment is forbidden in the rooms.
  2. Animals are allowed on the premises of the Resort for an additional fee after obtaining the consent of the Resort's Reception prior to the Guest's arrival.
  3. The owner of the animal is obliged to keep it in such a way that it does not pose a threat to other Guests and staff. The Guest is obliged to remove any waste left by the animal on the premises of the Resort. It is forbidden to leave animals in rooms in the absence of a guardian.
  4. In public areas, the Owner is obliged to keep the dog on a leash.
  5. It is strictly forbidden to smoke in all rooms located in the Resort. In case of violation of the smoking ban, the Guest will be charged for refreshing the rooms in the amount of 400 PLN.
  6. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas in the Resort. No littering!
  7. Guests are not allowed to make any changes to the rooms and their furnishings, except for minor rearrangement of furniture and equipment which does not affect their functionality and safety.
  8. It is forbidden to take furniture outside the area of the occupied space.
  9. It is forbidden to put up tents in the whole area of the Resort.
  10. The Guest agrees to the storing and processing of their personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018 (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1000) by Oczy Mazur MCŻiTW Sp. z o.o. ul. Moniuszki 24, 11-500 Giżycko, for the purposes necessary for the Guest's stay at the Resort and use of other services provided by the Resort. The Guest has the right to access and correct their personal data.
